PAIN Coming to Blu-Ray

PAIN, the vaguely sadistic but endlessly funny PSN game that involves throwing people into solid things, breakable things and explosive things, is going to be coming out on Blu-Ray, says the EU Playstation Blog. It'll come with all of the levels that have been released as DLC and all of the characters, barring David Hasselhoff, for some reason. So no, before you ask, you won't be able to hassle the hoff without buying from from PSN.

It'll come with the rest of the stuff, such as PAIN Labs, music player, etc. It's going to cost you £19.99/€24.99/AU $39.95 and will release on 26th June in the UK, 25th in Australia and New Zealand and on 24th in Europe. Like catapulting people into things? This is the game for you. Read more »

Pain: Movie Studio Today

The Hoff himself has confirmed that the new Pain level: Movie Studio (which we reported on previously) will be launching onto the Playstation Store today (13th November). The level features a lot of new laughs, of course, and The Hoff will be released alongside as a downloadable character, apparently coming with a cover of Culture Club's 'Do You Really Want to Hurt me?' performed by the Hoff for Pain. According to The Hoff, David 'Knight Rider' Hasslehoff will be coming to a hilarious person-catapulting game near you (a hint: Pain). He'll be a downloadable character on Hoff Day, November 6th, along with the spiffy new Movie Studio level. Included will be a cover of Culture Club's 'Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?', covered by the Hoff, no less. Read more »
