According to a recent Twitter post by David Jaffe, his unannounced project will not be making an appearance at this year's E3. This seems rather odd since Jaffe said earlier this year his game could be shown as early as February.

Zombies Mode Not Infinity Ward's 'Bag'

At a recent LA showcase event hosted by Activision and Infinity Ward, a number of lucky FPS enthusiasts had the opportunity to witness and experience the excellence of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer component. With the inclusion of new perks, more weapons, customisable killstreaks and even deathstreaks, there’s a lot for us to look forward to.

However, there's still one question on everyone's mind: will Call of Duty: World at War’s illustrious Zombies mode return under a new guise this November? Robert Bowling has already disclosed information to Video Gamer out about Special Ops mode, a two player competitive co-op campaign set aside from Modern Warfare 2’s single player and multiplayer elements, but is Treyarch’s lucrative zombie survival concept something Infinity Ward plans to adopt?

Todd Alderman, Lead Multiplayer Designer at Infinity Ward, had this to say on the subject :

‘It’s just not our bag really. We like to keep it consistent and in the same universe - not to say that we wouldn’t do something like that in the future, but for what we are doing right now it’s just not something we’d do.’

So, in short, there will be no undead fun to be had this time around. But look on the bright side; if nothing else, we now have incentive to retain our copies of World at War.

It seems like that, without regular updates on a game's development, the internet sprouts rumours about that game being cancelled. It's like the whole internet has paranoid delusions.

The latest subject of this is The Agency, the PS3-exclusive massively multiplayer shooter from SOE. There have, apparently, been rumours around lately that the game is going to be cancelled, but you can rest assured - Smedley says it's not. It will, however, only be released when it's ready, which is always good, because releasing something when it isn't ready would be stupid.

There's still not real release date, just a vague 'next year'. We assume that, after answering Joystiq's questions, Smedley crouched and sneaked away without anybody noticing until they were suddenly very drowsy from the sleeping gas that was filling the room. That might just be wishful (awesome) thinking, though.

A Complete Run-Down of the Batman: Arkham Asylum Content, Exclusive and Not

Batman Arkham Asylum Banner

We're looking forward to Batman: Arkham Asylum like it's going out of fashion. The demo is our collective most-played anything this week, with me personally having played it for hours at a time multiple times (and about to do so again), so it's obvious that we enjoy it. A lot.

If you're anywhere near as batty about the demo as we are, and are lurking in the shadows waiting for the game to wander past, you'll probably be wondering which version you want to glide kick into unconsciousness. There are three versions, after all - the PS3 version, the 360 version and the PC version. In an effort to help you out, we've listed the features of the game, including pre-order bonuses, platform-exclusives and just general information, after the break.
