If you’re anything like me you will have been keeping a close eye on Criterion Games’ Twitter page since Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit was officially revealed at this year’s E3 Expo. The British developer, world-renowned for the highly-successful Burnout series, is on track to restore the Need for Speed franchise to its former, pre-Underground glory, and naturally fans are desparate to find out all they can prior to the game’s November release. Almost everyone must know by now that Criterion Games, the developer responsible for gracing our PS3's with legendary arcade street racer Burnout Paradise, is working alongside Electronic Arts to create the next instalment in the longstanding Need for Speed series - rumoured to be titled NFS: Out of the Law.

Today, the Guildford-based design team tweeted that they would be presenting their efforts thus far at an internal EA meeting, but you can get a glimpse of their work right now; some early concept art samples from the project have already been leaked.
