According to a source close with Kotaku, our beloved hero Nathan Drake may be heading to a desert locale.

They didn't elaborate on which country it may be taking place in, however if there's sand it would be safe to bet on Egypt as the main location.

Kotaku isn't excatly the most trustworthy source, however it's worth mentioning considering fans and media alike have pointed toward Egypt or Atlantis.

It's been almost a year since Uncharted 2: Among Thieves was released on PS3, with a stellar reception and the words "Game of the year" being thrown in its direction on more than one occasion, yet there's been no word on the sequel (other than that we knew one was coming eventually). We have come to enjoy playing games with great stories and like-able characters. Nathan Drake has defiantly become one of the most iconic characters to hit the gaming scene. He is a very intelligent explorer that has the mentality to leap before he looks. Our buddy Nathan has discovered El Dorado and Shambala, but what is next on his list of discoveries?

As a Thanksgiving treat Naughty Dog has, as promised, delivered some new additions to the multiplayer aspect of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

‘The Fort’ has been newly added to the game’s existing collection of battlegrounds, a long rectangular map inspired by the original Fortress level in Drake’s Fortune. Featuring open spaces, flanking routes, and a variety of sneaky hiding places, you can guarantee it will be host to some truly awesome skirmishes.

But there’s more. Two special character skins are available for use in team modes (Fat Drake for the Heroes, and Fat Lazarevic for the Villains), leaderboards tracking win and kill/death ratios have been thrown into the mix, and the icing on the cake... for this weekend only... is... double cash on all moneys and medals earned during online play.

Ok, so we Brits might not embrace the Thanksgiving tradition, but we certainly are thankful!
