Rumor: Insomniac Games Going Multiplatform

Long time PlayStation developer Insomniac Games allegedly has become a multiplatform developer, according to a trusted source who spoke with IGN under the condition of anonymity.

Insomniac Games has enjoyed a long relationship with Sony, but over the years has remained an independent studio. Insomniac reserves the right to create games for any platform. Insomniac is based in Burbank, California. Earlier this year, Insomniac Games opened a new studio in North Carolina.

GDC 2010: PlayStation Move Gets First Wii Port

With the obvious similarities between the Wii and Sony's recently announced Move, you may have been wondering how long before Wii games would be ported to the PS3. Not long, in fact, just a few hours. Warner Bros has announced that The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest will be making an appearance on the PlayStation 3. Resident Evil 5 Demo Impressions

After downloading the Resident Evil 5 demo from the XBL marketplace(PSN users get it a week later, because MS signed a exculsive deal), iImust say I am rather disapointed. There are several reason why. The animations, A.I, controls are the same. For the most part you will see sites in march praising this game even though it does nothing innovative, yet bash other games for doing the same thing. It's this double standard that is destroying the industry and why gaming journalism isn't taken seriously. Read more »
