"Massive Sequel" Revealed Next Month

According to Official PlayStation Magazine, a "Massive Sequel" will be announced in next month's issue. Luckily, OPM has revealed a significant clue. The "Massive Sequel" is a racing game that may challenge GT5's racing crown.

Straight from OPM, "We’ve seen a top-secret driving game that may threaten GT5’s racing crown. More next month – be excited.”

What it could it be? Could it be Motorstorm 3, Need For Speed, or Burnout?

Motorstorm Pacific Rift European Demo Impressions

Thanks to the rather unusual decision to only release the Motorstorm Pacific Rift demo to selected e-mail addresses, there will be many who won't get hold of this demo at the current time (News is it will be released to everyone some time in October - presumably, giving a double-dose of advertising for the game).  However, the question still remains - is Motorstorm Pacific Rift any good?  Does it have big crashes?  Has going to a Pacific Island lost the massive drops, the weird and wonderful terrain that the first one had in spades? 28th of October, according to EuroGamer, you lucky US folks. The European date has been driven off of the road, so we have no idea when we're getting it. It'll probably be around the same time, if we're lucky - cross your fingers.

For those of you Brits feeling left out with the "Greatest Hits" US range coming out today, do not despair. On the 1st of August, many titles will be launched in the "Platinum Range", our equivalent to the American's "Greatest Hits" (however, some are to be released later than 1st August, and some have an unconfirmed release date).
