Medal of Honor is a game that any first person shooter fan has heard of and probably played, but now this traditionally World War II based series has made the ever-popular shift to the modern day setting. The new title is boasting impressive graphics and very Modern Warfare like game mechanics. Medal of Honor is set to come out some time later this year in the third quarter, and will be put up against the Call of Duty’s and Bad Company 2. But the big news about this game right now is the news that the PS3 will be the lead platform. At the 2010 Game Developers Conference the producers said that the PS3 is better suited for multiplatform production and it will not only benefit the PS3’s performance but the Xbox 360 also. Its always nice to see third party companies, like EA, developing on the PS3 and taking advantage of the power the PS3 has to offer.

Over on GameTrailers. Features snowmobiles, snow, and it's all supposed to be in-game. Looks alright, we think. It's a teaser for a trailer, or something equally odd and silly sounding, which will be released on the 24th May. I know, there's loads of waiting lately, but there's nothing we can do, we broke our Tardis.

Shock: Activision Says Modern Warfare 2 'Looks Incredible'

As completely unexpected as it is that an important company employee would say that their own game is looking good, Thomas Tippl, CFO of Activision, has gone and done it anyway. He says that the sequel to the painfully good and popular Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 'looks incredible'.

Speaking at the Wedbush Morgan Securities annual meeting, he said “Last year we had probably beaten most expert expectations by growing the Call of Duty franchise over the tremendous success that was the first iteration of Modern Warfare,”

“For 2009, Modern Warfare is coming back, we expect it will be the most anticipated game of the year. Perhaps the number one game of the year despite the fact that it’s only going to launch in the holiday season.

“There is no doubt in my mind that it will again raise the bar for the shooter genre.The game is looking incredible and Infinity Ward, the studio that is developing it, is just doing an unbelievable job.”

There you have it, the Activision employee, who we assume is completely trustworthy, says that Modern Warfare looks incredible. Go figure. Read more »

"People. This list is fake," posted Infinity Ward programmer Rayme "Rayme" Vinson on the NeoGAF message boards. "I mean; I can't get into how-much-if-any is true, how much is false, etc (there's a reason why companies "don't comment on rumors"... it would NEVER F***ING END), but this list wasn't put together by anyone with any insider information.
