MGS4 Trophies Actually Going to Happen?

Konami might actually add trophies to Metal Gear Solid 4. Sean Eyestone (that's the head of the Kojima Productions Report) said; 'I just wanna tell everybody out there right now that your voices are being heard and that we’re not ignoring you. We hear everything that you are saying. It’s just that we can’t say anything just yet.'

So they're not ignoring our desperate pleas for trophies for our Snake-based sneaking game, they just can't say anything about them yet. We're pretty sure that means 'we're working on them' in developer-speak.

MGO Gets a New Level and an Old Snake

As part of Konami's celebratory week of updates for MGS4 in aid of it's anniversary, they've released some fancy new stuff for Metal Gear Online, namely; Old Snake and Shadow Moses, according to Kotaku.

That's it for today. You get to play as Old Snake online, as well as a new level,  called 'Icebound Inferno', which is essentially Shadow Moses from the main game.

Konami Announce Announcements for MGS4

Konami, masters of announcing announcements, have done it again. They say they're going to be announcing things for MGS4 all week, according to Kotaku. They also say that the announcements will be exciting and involve 'game updates and other highly anticipated announcements'.

I can almost see my reflection looking back at me from some trophies. That could just be wishful thinking though - the trophies, not my reflection. God no.

MGS4 Reaches Number One In The UK Software Chart

And is it any surprise that Kojima's masterpiece tops the charts after the significant number of outstanding reviews it received? It has also earned the title of the second fastest selling UK PS3 release of all time. It did, however, fail to beat GTA IV's amazing record which still remains as the benchmark. It was announced today that GamerZines.com, the site for free digital magazines for gamers, have released a Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots magazine.
