MGS and Resident Evil Heading to PSN and PSP?

Something we've all been clamouring for since the first PSX titles started to appear. Perhaps our prayers are a little closer to being answered. A listing on the ESRB website (courtesy of IGN) lists these two gaming classics as PS3 / PSP under the platforms heading...

Getting MGS at least has been rumoured before, but alas to no avail. Whilst the ESRB listing doesn't promise anything, it may provide a ray of hope for fans of these titles (myself included). Anyone who has played MGS4 (and why wouldn't you? It's fantastic) will have felt a twinge of nostalgia at a certain point in the game. As wish list titles seem to be rising to the surface, how about Resi 2? I must have played that through about five times! Any other classics you think we should demand?

Rumour: Metal Gear Solid 4 Trophy Support? This Looks Promising...

Here's a tasty little discovery for you readers out there. Whilst browsing the news published by PSU about a 'new trophy gamercard system' from Playfire.com, it came to my attention that one screenshot featured contained a hidden surprise.

The PS3 scores for August's edition of Edge are as follows;

Metal Gear Solid 4 = 8

Metal Gear Solid has always been a story in the face of obsolescence, and if this is really it for Kojima's chapter-and who knows, maybe the entire series-his duty has been fulfilled.
