Another little birdy told me a very interesting story about the next Call of Duty. Developers of the eighth Call of Duty title in the series - Sledgehammer Games, have been revealing plot details of the next title.

There are three developers now working on Call of Duty; Sledgehammer Games, Treyarch, and of course, Infinity Ward and that  title remains unnamed as yet. Sledgehammer Games co-founder Glen Schofield today tweeted the first plot details of the studio's sequel, "Working w/ military guys- their stories will blow you away. Names/locations will change but some situations going in the game- real stuff!"

New Uncharted 2 Gameplay Choppers In

Gametrailers have got some shiny new footage of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, whihh features shooting, a train and, oh yeah, a helicopter. With rockets.

As you'd expect from Uncharted 2, it's completely astounding. We continue to look forward to Uncharted 2 like it's going to give us money and a massage every night. We are, quite metaphorically, on the edge of our seats. You can see he video after the break.

As FreedonPS3 quite rightly states, this week is Sony's chance to shine. Not only has Life With PlayStation been promised to have an August release date, there's also the extended Home Closed Beta, and don't forget the Warhawk 1.5 update and Jetpack expansion. A new video for firmware 2.4 has been uncovered - showing the in-game XMB functions more clearly than ever before! Like everyone else in the sane world, we simply can't for the day to arrive when our PS3 tells us, quite politely, that new system software is ready for download - please, please let it be soon!
