I’m one massive Sonic fan. The SEGA Mega Drive (or Genesis, as it was branded in the US) was my first console, the original Sonic the Hedgehog my first game. As you might expect then, I’m uber psyched for the arrival of Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1, which will be available for download from next Tuesday via the PlayStation Store. However, my psyched state became less uber last night when it suddenly dawned on me: I've played Sonic 4 before.

PS3 Ghostbusters is Not HD

Oh dear, it's happened again, but this time it's stranger. According to GameZine, the PS3 version of Ghostbusters is not in a HD resolution and is, in fact, at 960x540, whilst the 360 is at proper 720p.

It means that, if you own both consoles, you'd better spring for the 360 version of the game if you want to avoid low resolution textures and blurred images.

Disappointing? Yes. Read more »
