I got 99 problems and a glitch is one...

Last night I downloaded the newly-released Red Dead Redemption Outlaws to the End DLC only to be left a little dissapointed. It appears I am not alone in the problems I faced, as a number of forums have been flooded with complaints concerning complications on all consoles.

So update 1.05 for the PlayStation 3 version of Modern Warfare 2 is now live. Matchmaking has supposedly been improved, though we’re still not happy. Why? Glitchers.

We’re getting increasingly fed up of gamers exploiting the suicide bomber-esque Javelin glitch and players doing things like hiding inside rocks to claim kills from unsuspecting passersby. Thankfully Infinity Ward's Community Manager Robert Bowling has confirmed via Twitter that the imminent update 1.06 will fix these issues:

‘MW2 PS3 update 1.06 is the javelin fix, care package glitch fix, and addresses areas where players could get into geo. Like rocks on Afghan.’

Now all Infinity Ward needs to do is prevent people from hacking leaderboards and we might once again be able to use words like ‘honest’ and ‘fair’ in the same sentence as 'Modern Warfare 2'. Oh look, we just did! Silly us.

Glitchers, hackers, please stop cheating yourselves. All you’re doing is proving to the rest of us that you can’t win by conventional methods.

Normally I wouldn't be the one to complain about issues. However after the patch which supposedly fixed many of the issues including the goat glitch, notification gitch etc.

I have been experiencing tons of freezing to the point where I am afraid to play it on my PS3. It's not completely unheard of especially during this generation that games come shipped with bugs. The sheer amount of bugs in Fallout 3 is totally unacceptable. Post patch I have experienced at least 1 freeze every single time I play. Read more »
