Modern Warfare 2's 'Ice Skating' glitch to be patched in Infinity Ward's next playlist update

A New Year brings new Modern Warfare 2 glitches. This game probably has more bugs in it than an overpopulated Influenza concentration camp.

The latest online multiplayer hindrance is the ‘ice skate’ manoeuvre, the ability to move almost five times faster than normal (and no, we are not about to tell you how to do it!). Thankfully this hack is going to be patched in an approaching playlist update, as Infinity Ward's Community Manager Robert Bowling has explained via the increasingly-popular social medium Twitter:

'Another MW2 playlist update to prevent the spread of the “ice skating” / speed hack. Will prevent matchmaking into modded games.

Battery Meter Glitch IS Being Fixed

You've all noticed it. The terrible placed battery indicator that pops up when you press the PS button - directly over the time, so you've got to wait a few seconds just to check the time on your PS3. It's a silly mistake, just how they managed to make it is beyond us, really.

At least you can remain assured that it's being fixed, though. Eric Lempel, of the PSN management, has said that it's 'definitely being corrected'. It's taking a long time, we know, and we don't know why, but it's going to happen. Eventually.

He also said that PSN isn't trying to catch up to XBL anymore, which we're certain is not true - cross-game voicechat, anyone?
