Soldner-X: Himmelsturmer to Get a Sequel

Soldner-X: Himmelsturmer, the PSN shooter with the odd name and odd markings that we don't know how to do on our keyboard, is going to get a sequel in the form of Soldner-X 2: Final Prototype. The sequel will be PSN exclusive, will feature 2 different ships to shoot things with, 7 levels to shoot things in that, though shorter than the levels in the first game, will equal a longer play time than the prequel, better looking things to shoot and more impressive backgrounds to shoot things over.

Additionally, there'll be an improved scoring system, a massive 30 track soundtrack and will, like it's predecessor, be a downloadable game, of course. The game will release at some point early next year, hopefully one-upping (or even two-upping) Himmelsturmer, which is reportedly not the best game on PSN.

Fat Princess to Get Patched

If you've bought Fat Princess (and you should have), you've probably noticed the online issues. A large chunk of users have been experiencing lag, whilst another large chunk just haven't even been able to connect to any online games. Frustrating, of course, but help is at hand - Titan Studios are working on a patch to fix the problems.

The lag fix is already in testing, whilst they're working with Sony to get the connection issues fix into testing as soon as possible. All you have to do is wait.

Whilst you're waiting, you can play single player - it's good practice and has some witty introductions to the story levels, or you could practice your fighting in Gladiate mode. It is, at times, possible to get around the connection issues - you can try connecting to a game via the Play With Friends option, which may work. It's a bit hit and miss, but there's nothing else we can do until the patch. Or you could wait for our review, which will go live later today. You're really spoilt for choice.

Home to Get a Pixeljunk Space

Q-Games have announced, via their Pixeljunk Newsletter, that Home is going to get a Pixeljunk space at some point. You'll be able to watch Pixeljunk-related videos, talk to other Pixeljunkies (we made that term up ourselves) and acquire some Pixeljunk clothing and accessories.

There's no date right now, but we'll let you know when there is.

UFC 09 to Get a Patch

UFC 09, which we loved, is going to be getting a patch at some point. The patch has a few big fixes that promise to make online multiplayer much manageable, including lag reduction and punishing people who quit matches when they're losing. There's no specific date for the patch yet, but as soon as we know, so will you. See the fix list after the break. If you add me (PSN: Gamoc), you might even get a chance to pummel me into unconsciousness. What are you waiting for?
