That’s right, it’s nearly one year since Media Molecule blessed Sony’s next-generation console with 'Play, Create, Share’ masterpiece LittleBigPlanet. To celebrate this momentous occasion, the developers have fashioned a charming birthday cake costume (image after the break), which will be available to download free from the PlayStation Store on November 5th.

But that’s not all. The delicious (but inedible) outfit will be accompanied by the exclusive Astronaut gear originally released at the time of the game’s launch 12 months ago. Like the best things in life, this too will be free.

Just make sure you don’t forget to send a card. It’s only polite.

Home Gets Free GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra Costumes

Home has got some free costumes inspired by the new GI Joe film, The Rise of Cobra, available specifically from the Threads store. The costumes are Channing Tatum (Duke) and Sienna Miller (The Baroness), or Cobra ninjas, Snake Eyes or Storm Shadow.

Are you American? My condolences, but here's something that might make you feel better about it! If you point yourself to the Playstation Store you can find Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic for the lofty price of completely nothing. Free. Nada. Écouter. Erm...El zilcho.

This might piss off the people who had bought it previously, but everyone else will be ecstatic, especially once they've played it. Hint: Try it on local multiplayer, there are few games that come close to how insanely fun(ny) it is. What are you waiting for? You shouldn't even be reading this (if you're American). Go already!
