Every gamer loves a gadget, so you imagine our ecstasy when we first heard about Sony Ericsson’s Aino, a mobile phone handset that can be synchronised with the PS3 to give 'users on-the-go' access to Remote Play features, and an array of other multimedia tools.

Subsequent to the device’s launch yesterday, the EU PlayStation Blog has published an article detailing what this sleek little gizmo is capable of. For example, it can be used to navigate the XMB user interface, message your friends on the PSN, purchase content from the PlayStation Store, and even watch (and record) live television via the PlayTV application.

Yes, in the grand scheme of things, it’s just another pocket-sized big boy’s toy, but the world can never have enough of those in our opinion.

Gran Turismo PSP's Pre-Order Promotion Explained

Petrol-headed PSP gamers will be pleased to learn that Gran Turismo PSP has a pre-order scheme, like many new titles do today. Exclusivity is the name of the game, as those who opt for pre-order will be able to get their hands on some special motors (available from the start) in a host of colours that will not otherwise be available.

For each pre-order, a voucher will be issued for one of the four cars on offer, which can later be redeemed at the Playstation Store when the game is formally released. It’s worth noting here that the models in question have never before featured in the Gran Turismo franchise.
