Drake's Adventures won't End with Uncharted 2

The US PlayStation Blog’s Jeff Rubenstein caught up with Naughty Dog’s Creative Director Amy Hennig at the recent Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) to talk all things Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, with reference to a tweet posted during the event inviting questions from the PS3 community.

Besides discussing Naughty Dog work ethics, Uncharted 2 game mechanics and her opinion on crispy bacon, Amy hinted that an Uncharted 3 is by no means out of the question:

‘[Uncharted 2] doesn't conclude the story at all. The expectation with Uncharted is that it can be an ongoing franchise as long as people want more of it. All these stories are self-contained; you don't have to play the last one to play this one. Obviously, you're going to get a little bit more out of it if you have, but [Drake’s] going to have a lot of adventures.’

They use them well too, just look at their track record.

Of course, this doesn't necessarily mean that they'll choose to go to the other platforms, they might be perfectly happy sticking with Sony. We can only hope. Read more »

StrategyInformer have confirmed that a Fear 2 demo will be going live at the end of January on PSN (and Xbox Live, if you like that kind of thing). The US demo will be Qore-exclusive, unfortunately, with no news about the availability of the EU version.

We await with apprehension. The first FEAR was good, though the fighting got a little repetitive after a while, let's hope the sequel can sort that out.
