Medal of Honor Firing Back on October 12th

Electronic Arts is bringing back the Medal of Honor series in a direct challenge to the recently announced Call of Duty: Black Ops. The latest chapter in the long running series will launch on October 12, 2010 in North America and three days later in Europe. Read more »

EA Shutting Down Some Online Servers.

EA shutting down Servers

EA released a service update to anyone still playing older EA sports games online that several of the servers will be shut down as of February 2, 2010. Even if this may be a large disappointment for these older games, freeing up server space will provide more accessibility to new releases which require online servers.

"Servers for the games listed below will be shut down on the indicated dates," said EA. "You may continue to play the games online up until these dates, but certain community programs may begin to close down prior to the shutdown dates."

DeadSpace Goes Gold, Bonus For Europe

Dead Space has gone gold and will be showing up on October 14th in the US and October 24th in Europe. In addition, our European brethren (and sisterethen) will get bnous Downloadable Content for free if ordered from Play.com Rumor has it that the bonus content is the Obsidian Suit. This suit features extra toughness and more inventory holding spots. Presumably the Obsidian Suit will also be available in the US and hopefully will be free. Stay tuned for further details!
