Gran Turismo 5: Special Edition Details Announced

Today on the PlayStation EU Blog the first of many news pieces on what to expect from Gran Turismo have finally arrived. Penrose Tackie – European Brand Manager for PlayStation EU has said;

"I am absolutely delighted to be able to bring what will hopefully be very exciting news to those patiently (or impatiently) waiting for more information on Gran Turismo 5. During E3, our American colleagues unveiled their rather tasty looking Collector’s Edition. Today I can now confirm the special editions of Gran Turismo that will be heading Europe’s way later this year.

Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY edition to include 3D

Warner Bros. and Eidos Inc. have just announced that they will be releasing a Game of the Year edition of the hit comic book game Batman: Arkham Asylum.

The Game of the Year edition will include the downloadable content that was previously released as standard. The new pack will also support TriOviz 3D, which will allow users to play and view the game in 3D on both standard and high-definition TVs. You'll even get a neat pair of 3D glasses!

EU LBP Game of the Year Edition? 'No Plans'

Sam_Protagonist has posted to the Official EU Playstation Forums saying that there are 'no plans' for a release of the Game of the Year Edition of LittleBigPlanet in the EU, TSA has noticed.. Whether or not this means we won't get the 18 unique levels or the beta access to Modnation Racers or not is yet to be seen, but this is still a blow to us poor EU dwellers.

'No plans' doesn't mean 'never ever', though, so maybe if you look cute enough it'll happen at some point. Get those puppy-dog eyes and pouts ready.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Unlimited Sith Edition Revealed

Despite some mixed opinions, The Force Unleashed sold a ton of copies and made LucasArts lots of money. To return the favor to fans, DLC is planned for later this year, which will include a trip to Tatooine, in which the young Apprentice will duke it out with none other than Obi-Wan. Oh and you'll also get to visit Jabba the Hut's Palace.

That news would have been exciting enough, but the gravy train doesn't stop there. This Christmas the "Unlimited Sith Edition" of the game will be released, and will include the previous DLC, as well as loads of extra content and an entirely new mission. This time, the apprentice makes his way over to Hoth and battles it out with the one and the only: Luke Skywalker. With all this bonus content, it would be foolish to say no to the darkside come this Christmas.
