When the PlayStation 3 launched in late 2006, the console struggled to find a game that best defined the platform. Sony made several promises in regards to the console's capabilities, but with a mediocre advertising campaign the PS3 struggled to maintain a foothold in the market.

It's now 2010 and Sony has seen an unprecedented shift in momentum in regards to the console, sales, and the games that flood the PS3's library. The promises that Sony made long ago - the CG trailers, the unbelievable gameplay footage -  are now a reality. I can confidently say that the PS3 has the most diverse selection of games of any platform this generation.
