The Splinter Cell Franchise Could Return to PS3

Sure, Splinter Cell Conviction is exclusive to the 360 (at least as far as we know), but the series was originally exclusive to the Xbox and made it's way to other platforms afterwards, so it's not in the realm of impossibility that the franchise will go multiplatform. Again.

In fact, Yannis Mallat, the CEO of Ubisoft's Montreal and Toronto studios, has said the following:

Until futher notice [the franchise is staying on Xbox 360]. However, I'm only the one making the games, you should talk to the people in Paris [for a final answer].

So, is Splinter Cell coming to PS3 again? Well, erm, we don't know. Still, at least we haven't got a straight no, eh?

Could This be a Slimline PS3?

Well could it? Actually, no, no it couldn't. Well, not if you listen to what Sony had to say to CVG, anyway. Some images popped up here of what appear to be a Slimline PS3, if a very ugly one, and the pictures are, typically, blurred like hell. Still, Sony are denying all knowledge and we're not convinced. We'll eat our collective hat if that's really a slimline PS3.
