According to a post on NeoGaf, Sony or EA is set to announce a PS3 version of Mass Effect. While the validity of the post cannot be fully confirmed, it's worth mentioning due to the endless stream of rumors. Given EA's commitment to the PlayStation platform an announcement would not be out of the realm of possibility.  The rumored title is Mass Effect: Genesis. We will keep you posted on any further developments.

For a number of weeks Naughty Dog has been spewing out episode after episode of their stylish new motion comic Uncharted: The Eye of Indra. And those we’ve seen have been pretty good. But the developer of Game of the Year has gone a step further, providing EU-only inhabitants (sorry everywhere else) with an incentive to purchase all four episodes in one bundle.

Rika Raja and Daniel Pinkerton, relatively significant characters from the animated illustration, have been converted into multiplayer skins for the addictive online aspect of this third-person shooter. How do you get them? Visit the PlayStation Store, and buy the Eye of Indra motion comic bundle. Easy – well, if you live in Europe.

Now, to business. Two days ago we reported that PS2 titles God of War I & II would be making their way to the PS3 in blu-ray format - complete with trophy support and refined 720p visuals, and repackaged as a God of War Collection, no doubt.

Sadly, we have disappointing news for EU residents. SCEE has explained to VG247 that the God of War remakes won’t reach European territories until next year at the earliest:

'We are currently looking into options to bring God of War I and II to SCEE consumers on PS3; however it will not be possible to release the games this calendar year. We will provide further information in due course.'

However, referring directly to the VG247 article, Sony Santa Monica plans to release the collection in the US prior to Christmas. Should the end product be region-free, the impatient ones among you might want to think about orchestrating a sneaky import...
