Do you like to win free stuff? Who doesn't? Our contacts over at SEGA were kind enough to part with a few different codes, one of which is a code to download the newly released Sonic Adventures. The other two are DLC codes, which will allow you to play through 60 extra levels and unlock an extra character. Oh course at this point you probably going hey, where can I sign up? To enter for a chance to win any of these codes, please write a 300 word comment explaining what the Sonic franchise means to you? Many of us grew up with fond memories of Sonic on the Sega Genesis, so it will be interesting to see what you guys come up with. I will pick the best entries, and the winners will be featured in an upcoming article, along with winning the codes.

EU PS Site Giving Away MAG Beta Codes

If you're looking forward to some 256-player warfare but haven't managed to secure a MAG beta code yet and live in the EU, you might be in lucky. But only might. The EU PS site is giving them away in a competition - just login to the site with your PSN ID and click the correct button.

They're only giving away 16,000, so you'd better get over there sharpish. After you've done it you can only hope, cross your fingers and chant some good luck charms. The beta will run for 6 hours per day mon-fri - from 5pm til 8pm and 12am (midnight) til 3am. Yes, this is a proper beta, so there will be bugs and glitches around. These will be fixed before the game's full release, of course, and the beta is how they are found.
