Last night I decided to venture online with Call of Duty: Black Ops. At about 19:00 GMT there were 724,598 players connected across the globe, so I was open to the possibility that my experience might be a little, ahem, ‘temperamental’ (and it was, though given I retired from my session with a respectable Kill/Death Ratio I wasn’t too disappointed). However, the technical team at Treyarch have a lot of work ahead of them judging by what I’ve read recently on the Call of Duty forums.

If you live in the UK, you'll be glad to hear that Game and Gamestation are the first to play their hand revealing that they will be pricing the game at £25 if you purchase it alongside another chart title.

Various media outlets have been reporting that a number of copies of Call of Duty: Black Ops have been stolen from the printing company. The alleged bandit is said to have sold several copies to a known hacker who hides behind the alias ‘Ungodly Leaker’.
