Yes, after way-too-long, we're back folks. We apologise profusely for the extended downtime, our server exploded (no, not literally), so we had to replace the hardrives and get the back-ups restored and the site back up and running. It took longer than we expected, but you can rest assured that it's even less likely to happen every again, thanks to countermeasures that are now in place.

So, we're back in business. We hope we didn't inconvenience you too much, but...well, blame the server, ok?

We've lost a couple of posts, but otherwise we're fine. You'll be happy to know that comments are working again and everything is running along smoothly. Let's just pretend this never happened, alright?

You can expect the usual news and some features coming your way today. That's some good pretending we're doing there, eh?

Some of you may have noticed that visiting the site over the last few days presented you with a rather ugly error saying you couldn't connect. You may also have noticed that we're back up and running as usual, now, so if you were panicky and sweaty for the last few days you can now relax.

Until New Year

Tag: Back, MotorStorm Pacific Rift, New, Until, Year

Yes, you've probably noticed we're not posting that much lately. There are a two main reasons for this:

  • Things worth posting are about as plentiful as a beggar's wealth.
  • Other things (namely alcohol) are about as plentiful as silicon in Pamela Anderson's chest.

We apologise for this, after a fashion - we're not that sorry though, because any posts we made would be random jabbering which we're sure you don't want to read when you could be drinking silicon - no wait, I got that metaphor mixed up. Something to do with Pamela Anderson's chest, I don't know.

Regardless, will will be back around new years, and my first article will be a review of Motorstorm 2 and a couple of mini reviews (Kane and Lynch: Dead Men and Legendary). More on those when they go live.

In the mean time, we'd like to wish you a happy new year, and we hope you got many new games for Christmas, as well as alcohol (there's got to be something to punctuate the binge drinking, surely?). So, until the new year, then!
