Firmware Update 3.50 to arrive September 21st

Sony has officially confirmed that firmware version 3.50 will be arriving on September 21st. This latest firmware update will allow for the viewing of 3D Blu-Ray movies to your PS3. Other details are slim at the moment, however it has just been revealed that it will also improve Facebook functionality, and allow for the reporting of unwanted messages.

3D games come to the PSN

Sony enabled 3D gaming on the PlayStation 3 as part of an update issued back in April, and now, as of today, the first 3D-compatible games are available for immediate download from the PlayStation Store.
