Sony’s motion controller, PlayStation Move was formally announced today, and with it details are beginning to slowly surface. PlayStation Move will indeed launch this fall and with it, the support of over thirty-six publishers. The list can be found after the break.

It’s official: The Ballad of Gay Tony and The Lost and the Damned add-ons for GTA IV will finally make an appearance on the PS3. Rockstar’s contract with Microsoft promising to keep the DLC exclusive to the Xbox 360 has expired, and SCEA has confirmed that the episodes will be available in North America on March 30th, 2010. George Hotz, the American hacker famed for unlocking Apple’s iPhone from the AT&T network shortly after its launch in 2007, has managed to configure a PlayStation 3 to read pirated and homemade software, making him the first to successfully hack the deemed ‘unhackable’ games console.

As reported by News10, Sony Computer Entertainment announced yesterday that its Wii remote-resembling thingamajig will be launched Autumn 2010 – not Spring 2010, as originally announced at last year’s E3 Expo.

News comes from an official (and confusedly translated) PlayStation.com press release that the Japanese launch of Gran Turismo 5 has been pushed back from March to April 2010.

According to Engadget, ‘someone’ has completed a survey for Sony which details services planned for the non-compulsory ‘premium’ PlayStation Network package confirmed by Kaz Hirai back in November.
