There probably isn’t a soul alive who doesn’t know about the PlayStation 3 ’calendar bug’, a plague of error code 8001050F messages that has been sweeping PS3s internationally for the last 24 hours.

For the past couple hours, Sony’s PlayStation Network has been bombarding users with ‘8001050F’ error codes. This error not only locks users out of the PSN, but it also corrupts trophy data and paid DLC content. These things, when combined, cause certain games to lock up.
