Well, after a long day at the office (and a few needed rounds of COD 4), I logged on to check out the latest version of the PSN Store. To sum it up - it looks awesome but still has a few rough edges.

A certain ‘games journalist’ (me - Gamoc) had his Playstation 3 die yesterday. It stopped reading disks of any kind. This was a bad thing, as it can not be fixed. So I took it back to Game (with the receipt) and they replaced it (unfortunately with a 40gb).

The new PlayStation 3 Store “will no longer use the PS3 web browser” according to a Sony source.
“It will cache all images properly and is much faster than the old one,” says the source - so not only will it look slick, it’ll run better too.
