As reported by News10, Sony Computer Entertainment announced yesterday that its Wii remote-resembling thingamajig will be launched Autumn 2010 – not Spring 2010, as originally announced at last year’s E3 Expo.

For those of you who are unsure as to what exactly PlayTV is, here’s the Wiki definition:
PlayTV is a twin-channel DVB-T tuner peripheral with digital video recorder (DVR) software which allows users to watch and record television programmes to the hard drive of a PlayStation 3 console for later viewing.

Sony announced today that the UK PS3 community will be receiving a new system software update on Tuesday December 18th. The announcement was posted through Playstation UK’s system software updates page and details all the new features that will be added with this update.

We have word from the Tokyo Gaming Show that Burnout Paradise is rumble-equipped and the demo station where you can play it sports a controller that rumbles. The controller in question looks just like a normal Six-Axis controller so it might just be a prototype.

Mark Rein has responded to the recent rumors about UE3 on PS3 problems and UT3 running 60fps at GC in a forum post in which he states that, “Epic heard that same kind of silliness about UE3 on Xbox 360 before we shipped Gears of War and we all know how that turned out.â€
