According to a recent discussion with GamingIndustry.biz, Ninja Theory is not developing a Heavenly Sword sequel, and are currently working on a unique IP for both PS3 and Xbox, which is already signed to a publisher.

Ninja Theory, the makers of the fantastic, though short, Heavenly Sword have announced that they are working on another game. Their recently refurbished site shows some concept art that looks very different to Heavenly Sword, so it’s not a sequel (which is unfortunate, but also good in it’s own way).

The PS3 exclusive action game, Heavenly Sword, just received a 1.1 patch, available via download on the PSN. The October issue of the American gaming magazine Game Informer has just landed in stores and all the review scores are already found on the internet. In this months’ issue titles like Guitar Hero III, Metroid Prime 3, Warhawk, Heavenly Sword, SKATE, Medal of Honor and tons of other games have all been reviewed.
