It’s official: The Ballad of Gay Tony and The Lost and the Damned add-ons for GTA IV will finally make an appearance on the PS3. Rockstar’s contract with Microsoft promising to keep the DLC exclusive to the Xbox 360 has expired, and SCEA has confirmed that the episodes will be available in North America on March 30th, 2010. In a recent interview with The Times, Rockstar Games’ Vice President of Creativity Dan Houser has let an infinitesimal cat out of the bag labelled GTA V – well, a whisker or two at least.

What happens when you provoke 30+ cops to explode simultaneously in GTA IV? This.
Apologies for the 4 minute video, but if you are able to skilfully skip, then it isn’t a problem. A pretty cool video, is that the PS3 lagging under the strain for the hardware to render it, or the video?

After their most recent failed attempt, Electronic Arts pushed the cards again with a raised offer, with a close date of April 18th. Although the amount was never publically disclosed, it was apparently inviting enough that Take Two’s major share holders have finally agreed to the offer.

Speaking to EGM, Sam Houser, founder of Rockstar Games, commented that the idea of a a GTA MMO “is very, very doable and is a very, very compelling proposition”. That said, however, he also note out that a title of this scope would ultimately lack relevance.
