It’s official: The Ballad of Gay Tony and The Lost and the Damned add-ons for GTA IV will finally make an appearance on the PS3. Rockstar’s contract with Microsoft promising to keep the DLC exclusive to the Xbox 360 has expired, and SCEA has confirmed that the episodes will be available in North America on March 30th, 2010. Speaking to EGM, Sam Houser, founder of Rockstar Games, commented that the idea of a a GTA MMO “is very, very doable and is a very, very compelling proposition”. That said, however, he also note out that a title of this scope would ultimately lack relevance.

Around the internet, details on the soundtrack to Rockstar’s upcoming Grand Theft Auto IV have surfaced, revealing a fairly eclectic collection of both classic and recent music which will no doubt feature on the game’s varied radio stations.

Rockstar gave a press demo revealing some new features of the upcoming behemoth Grand Theft Auto 4 — it was a 360 demo, but as its the same game on both systems, it’s all of great interest to us PS3 folk.

Grand Theft Auto IV is to be release on the 25th April in the UK, so it’ll miss Easter. On the other hand, GTAIV looks like it’s gonna do what San Andreas did…be really really good, but eventually get boring just because it’s free roaming.

No doubt we’re all getting tired of the GTAIV’s constant delays and even revealing GTAIV’s box art is unlikely to satisfy impatient fans, but Rockstar Game hope that the newest trailer for the game will go way to alleviating our frustrations.

Im sure plenty of gamers would feel privledged to be included or referenced in a game. A Miami attourney, Jack Thompson, isn’t too happy about his claim of being depicted in Rockstar’s upcoming GTA IV game.
