Speaking to EGM, Sam Houser, founder of Rockstar Games, commented that the idea of a a GTA MMO “is very, very doable and is a very, very compelling proposition”. That said, however, he also note out that a title of this scope would ultimately lack relevance.

Rockstar gave a press demo revealing some new features of the upcoming behemoth Grand Theft Auto 4 — it was a 360 demo, but as its the same game on both systems, it’s all of great interest to us PS3 folk.

Grand Theft Auto IV is to be release on the 25th April in the UK, so it’ll miss Easter. On the other hand, GTAIV looks like it’s gonna do what San Andreas did…be really really good, but eventually get boring just because it’s free roaming.
