Capcom revealed yesterday that players will be able to unlock and play as infamous Resident Evil antagonist Albert Wesker in Lost Planet 2. There is one small catch, however; this character skin is a GameStop pre-order perk.
Playing as Wesker isn’t incentive enough, you say? Well, taking advantage of this pre-order promotion will also add an [...]

In an interview with Critical Gamer, Media Molecule has dismissed the possibility of a LittleBigPlanet 2.
But don’t be sad Sackboy lovers; the opinion of Level Designer Danny Leaver is that making a second game would be ‘counterproductive’, as it would more than likely fragment the well-established LBP community, so they do have our best interests [...]

Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you. Happy birthday dear Sackboy…
That’s right, it’s nearly one year since Media Molecule blessed Sony’s next-generation console with ‘Play, Create, Share’ masterpiece LittleBigPlanet. To celebrate this momentous occasion, the developers have fashioned a charming birthday cake costume (image after the break), which will be available to download free from the [...]

Media Molecule has just updated their blog with the announcement that Watchmen DLC will be hitting LittleBigPlanet this Thursday.
Unfortunately, a naked blue Dr. Manhattan isn’t amongst the cast of characters, but you’ll still be able to dress up as Silk Spector, Rorschach, Night Owl, and Ozymandias!
Tell me those aren’t the coolest looking sackboys ever. I [...]

It’s been confirmed that The Last Guardian (the next game by Team Ico, the brilliant guys behind Ico (obviously) and Shadow of the Colossus) will be at Tokyo Game Show in some form. Whether or not that form will be playable or just a video, we don’t know, but it’s certainly good news that it’s [...]

It’s that time again, folks, and you may or may not be disappointed. Alright, so that’s not particularly conclusive, but it’s entirely down to your own preferences whether or not this update will fulfil them. First up, we’ve got a new game from Tikgames, it’s a hidden object game called Interpol: The Trail of Dr. [...]

Last night I, csreynolds, carried out an exhausting (but necessary) clean-up exercise in order to reduce the size of my heaving friends list. To my delight, I was triumphant, and I now have plenty of room to make some new online acquaintances on the PlayStation Network.
Looking back over past posts, many of you have proven [...]

If you can cast your mind back to yesterday’s LittleBigPlanet GOTY Edition post, you might remember the brief mention of a new ‘Play, Create, Share’ game called ModNation Racers: the do-it-yourself karting experience that allows players to create their own wacky characters and courses to play and share online, strangely enough.
Well, at Gamescom 2009, San Diego [...]

LittleBigPlanet is finally going to get water. No, we don’t know when, but we do know that it’ll be part of a new DLC pack. See the (typically cute and hilarious) trailer over on TSA or after the break. Go on, you know you want to see you some wet sackboy.
No, I don’t mean it [...]

Its ‘Play, Create, Share’ concept has stimulated the creation of more than 1,000,000 user-generated levels within a thriving online community, giving Media Molecule’s physics-based platformer almost limitless longevity.
For those of you who have yet to be sucked [...]

Siliconera got a chance to try and play LBP PSP at a recent Sony event, but it was stuck on the main menu for whatever reason. The main menu had three options; Story Levels, Downloaded Levels and, the totally unexpected Purchased Levels. Obviously, this suggests a that there will be professionally created levels available to buy [...]
