It may not be the most logical or predictable combination, but the Blu-ray edition of Neill Blomkamp’s movie District 9 (due for release December 29th) will include an exclusive PS3 playable demo of God of War III built into the disc.
Peter Dille, SCEA’s Senior VP of Marketing and PlayStation Network, explains the thinking behind this:

Amazon are showing an October 30th 2009 release for God of War III, as noticed by TSA. As always, until there’s any official confirmation of this, you should take it with a large bag of salt, especially since the majority of, well, everyone, reckons it’ll land in March of next year.
