Today Ubisoft announced the launch of the official Far Cry® 2 space in PlayStation®Home’s closed beta in North America and Europe. Featuring details from the game’s expansive open world universe wrapped in what will become a fully interactive experience, the Far Cry 2 space marks the first third-party video game environment in PlayStation Home.

The sequel the FEAR, the supernatural FPS that scared everyone off of their chairs a few years ago on the PC before coming to consoles, has been renamed. Originally, it was called Project Origin (Monolith didn’t own the naming rights, Vivendi did), but now Monolith have bought the name.

Lucasarts have announced that Fracture, Day 1 Studio’s shooter that features, will be getting a demo on PSN and XBLA on the 18th September.
The demo will have a small portion of the game’s single player, giving us the opportunity to use terrain deformation for puzzle-solving, creating cover and, hopefully, crushing enemies under pieces of mountain.

Well, this is an interesting piece of info.
According to the upcoming DKS3713 issue of Famitsu magazine, the PlayStation 3 Final Fantasy XIII demo will clock in at a longer running time than Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete; the demo will supplied exclusively with the Blu-ray version of the movie.

In a recent interview, Fallout 3 developers Bethesda Softworks discussed the atmosphere and style behind the new title, and if it wasn’t already apparent from past titles in the series, this definately won’t be a family friendly title.
