More and more first-person shooters are incorporating a zombie element these days. Following in the footsteps of Treyarch’s Call of Duty: World at War, Gearbox will be releasing a zombie-oriented DLC package for Borderlands, entitled ‘The Zombie Island of Dr Ned’.
The story goes: a moustache-touting doctor has accidentally zombified the working-class inhabitants of Jakob’s Cove. [...]

Capcom revealed yesterday that players will be able to unlock and play as infamous Resident Evil antagonist Albert Wesker in Lost Planet 2. There is one small catch, however; this character skin is a GameStop pre-order perk.
Playing as Wesker isn’t incentive enough, you say? Well, taking advantage of this pre-order promotion will also add an [...]

A few weeks ago, IGN writer Jimmy Thang reported that Glenn Schofield, EA Redwood Shores General Manager and Dead Space Executive Producer, indirectly hinted a sequel to Dead Space was on the cards. Strangely enough, some remain unconvinced.
Well this ‘some’ might be interested to know that, earlier this evening, I received a mail from a [...]

The word on TheSixthAxis is that fungus-filled strategy game Mushroom Wars will be hitting the PlayStation Network again – this time in the format of a playable demo.
Ok, so we realise developer Creat Studios has adopted the try-before-you-buy philosophy a little late, releasing a demo weeks after the full game was released for purchase, but that’s a technicality. [...]

‘Ghost’, Modern Warfare 2’s campaign sub-character, might one day be starring in his own videogame. Craig Fairbrass, Ghost’s voice actor, revealed the news during the UK launch event for Infinity Ward’s new groundbreaking FPS:
‘I did in the last game a voice for a character called Gaz and in this game I’m now voicing a guy [...]

In a recent interview with The Times, Rockstar Games’ Vice President of Creativity Dan Houser has let an infinitesimal cat out of the bag labelled GTA V – well, a whisker or two at least.
Post-Red Dead Redemption, Houser will begin co-writing the script for GTA IV’s follow-up title, which is anticipated to be approximately 1,000 pages in [...]

The Saboteur, Pandemic Studio’s Assassin’s Creed-meets-GTAIV sandbox title, is now only a few short weeks away from release. With December 8th just around the corner, G4TV thought it appropriate to rendezvous with the game’s Lead Designer Tom French for a quick interview.
Players will take on the role of Irishman-turned-resistance fighter Sean Devlin whom, apart from [...]

I almost suffered a coronary when I read the ambiguous headline ‘Onion breaks news of Modern Warfare 3’. Modern Warfare 3? Already? Really?? But, when the link redirected me to the Onion News Network website, I quickly realised I was about to endure a meaningless spoof video. However, it was actually very entertaining – so [...]

‘If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’. I for one am a great believer in this particular cliché. Sure, whatever ‘it’ might be could over time undergo the odd tweak or two, but ‘it’ remains largely unchanged. Now, consider Insomniac’s solid, compelling and rewarding Ratchet and Clank franchise in place of ‘it’. The first ever [...]

With all eyes currently on the upcoming release of Gran Turismo 5 let me distract your attention from the windscreen for a moment.
While Gran Turismo since its birth has been firmly grounded in the world of reality, arcade styled alternatives offered by rivals are just as popular; such as the likes of the Burnout & [...]

In an interview with Critical Gamer, Media Molecule has dismissed the possibility of a LittleBigPlanet 2.
But don’t be sad Sackboy lovers; the opinion of Level Designer Danny Leaver is that making a second game would be ‘counterproductive’, as it would more than likely fragment the well-established LBP community, so they do have our best interests [...]

Rumour has it that a fifth Dead or Alive game could be in-the-making, according to an article published on Go Fanboy yesterday.
Apparently, European retailers are being informed via distribution channels that a follow-up to Xbox exclusive Dead or Alive 4 is ‘in the works’, and it looks like it will be a multi-platform title. Immediately [...]

The ‘Will they? Won’t they?’ debate concerning the release of a fourth map pack for Call of Duty: World at War remains unresolved. We don’t know who to believe or what to think anymore, and Treyarch certainly isn’t giving anything up.
To further complicate matters, we’ve come across another possible (possible) lead through our internet activities. [...]
