The word on TheSixthAxis is that fungus-filled strategy game Mushroom Wars will be hitting the PlayStation Network again – this time in the format of a playable demo.

It may not be the most logical or predictable combination, but the Blu-ray edition of Neill Blomkamp’s movie District 9 (due for release December 29th) will include an exclusive PS3 playable demo of God of War III built into the disc.

Brutal Legend demo will get a downloadable demo available on September 17th, downloadable from both PSN and XBL. All you have to do is wait that long – Tim Schafer? Jack Black? It’s going to be a long wait.
