Media Molecule working on a “new, ground-breaking, PS3 title”

According to a job listing posted on June 5, 2009, Media Molecule, the developers of LittleBigPlant are working on a “ground-breaking, AAA, PS3 title for Sony Computer Entertainment”.
Could this possibly be the rumored role-playing game? Or perhaps LittleBigPlanet 2? Have any ideas what it may be? We will keep you posted on any new developments. [...]

Street Fighter LittleBigPlanet costumes this week!

It’s been officially announced that the Street Fighter Sackboy costumes will be available to download this Thursday.
See my post last week for details and photos on the new costumes, they look great!

Haaa-doo-Sack! SFIV LBP FTW?

Little Big Planet should be applauded for this constant stream of new outfits – even though a 27 year old man’s glee at playing dress up with small dolls should certanly be called into question…

PlayStation 3 vs. Nintendo Wii

I started to write this due to an explosive anger that occured within myself when I watched the PlayStation 3 vs. Wii parody video the other day.

Guitar Hero Aerosmith Track Listing

2 Guitar Hero posts in a row? Some might say I was a little obsessed. Here’s a just a quick update (stolen shamelessly from another site I may add) on the full track listing in the Guitar Hero : I want to play as a slightly plastic looking version of the Demon of Screamin. [...]

MGS4 80Gb PS3 Street Date Already Broken

Prepare to contain your jealousy people – this dude is beyond lucky! Popping into Wal-Mart for “some socks”, an inexperienced employee provided Preston (the fortunate fella!) with a golden opportunity to purchase the special PS3 bundle FIVE DAYS ahead of the release date! Preston is unsure as whether to keep the console and game, or [...]

Slick new PS Store Interface in April!

The new PlayStation 3 Store “will no longer use the PS3 web browser” according to a Sony source.
“It will cache all images properly and is much faster than the old one,” says the source – so not only will it look slick, it’ll run better too.

PS3 Is Better Than 360, Because?

We all love the PS3 here, but why? Why do we love the PS3 over the 360?
Personally, because I want my console to work, the 360 fails with it’s nightmare red rings of death in normal conditions, and well, the PS3 can’t be killed under even the most extreme gaming conditions.

New PS3 bundles on the way

The word on the street, Sony Street to be precise, is that some new PS3 bundles are on the way. Not wanting to leave Europe outside in the cold we have news of region-specific bundles for both US and EU natives. Come on down and see what is soon to be on offer.

PlayTV streams ever closer to the UK

Announced in August of last year the PlayTV add on for PS3 is becoming that little bit more real with a new video courtesy of the BBC. The clip shows things we’ve seen before: EPG, live TV (with pause), remote access via PSP and so on. What makes this exciting (assuming you’re based in Europe [...]

UK PS3 sales reach a milestone

Being an accountant for SCE over the last year or so must have been pretty tough. In all honesty PS3 sales straight out of the blocks were alright, but not stellar. However, slow but steady seems to be working and the furrowed brows over in Sony HQ may well be a little less wrinkled at [...]

IGN Updated Release Dates

Before we go ahead, we want to highlight the fact that these release dates are not concrete, they could be subject to change.
With that out of the way, here is a large list of updated PS3 release dates for the UK. We’ll be kind though; so you don’t have to sieve through them all, we’ll [...]

Devil May Hang About

Devil May Cry is reported to have a 20 minute install time on PS3 — this isnt a big deal to anyone who is even remotely old school, the best things come to those who wait.

45nm Cell Chip is More Efficient

At the International Solid State Circuits Conference (ISSCC), Sony will be unveiling their latest creation – the 45nm Cell Chip. It uses 45% less power than the 65nm chip, and it’s also very small. Obviously.
