The PS3 releases this month have been as strong as ever, and fortunately the great games are still flooding in for Christmas time. This month’s OPM reviews the greatly anticipated Italian stealth simulator, FIFA’s ugly sister, the epitome of the PlayStation fighting genre, a game where you ferociously make flailing arm movements at your TV to cater for your “virtual pet” (yeah right, you crazy man) and many more. EyePet has been confirmed for a US release ‘in time for the holidays’. Admittedly, that’s not so much a release window as a garage door, but at least it’s been confirmed for release in the US, as it was previously seemingly an EU-only affair. Eternal Sonata was released on 19th October in the EU on the Xbox 360, but will only be released in Q1 of 2009 on the PS3 over here (EU), whilst those darn Americans have had the PS3 version since October 21st.
Never mind, eh? Importing games is easy as hell lately, especially when you have a boss who sends them to you, so let’s get right on with the review, shall we? I’ll try not to make you other Europeans feel too bad about not being able to go out and buy the game yet, but I’m not promising anything, because that will be damn hard.

According to TSA, Eye of Judgment, your friendly PS3hood trading card game, will be getting trophies in an upcoming expansion pack. Set to be released on the 16th October, there’ll be 100 new cards to buy and the update will be bought on PSN, just like the first expansion. Presumeably the trophies will be patched [...]

An update to the US Playstation blog shows that puzzle game Echochrome will be available for purchase on the US PSN store from today. The game can be yours for a mere $9.99 and will be available in both PS3 and PSP versions.

Bethesda Softworks announced Tuesday that The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Islesâ„¢ for PS3 is now shipping to North American retail stores. This standalone disc will allow gamers who already own The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion to experience the award-winning expansion.

Ubisoft has announced that it is bringing Enchanted Arms, Xbox 360 exclusive, to Sony PS3. Enchanted Arm is a Japanese RPG from From Software.
