Assassin’s Creed was unquestionably a big hit. Assassin’s Creed II looks to be an even bigger hit. But one has to wonder: after how many technically-impressive, gracefully-executed stealth kills will Ubisoft’s gameplay model start to get old?
When Xbox World 360 spoke to the game’s Creative Director Patrice Fortier about the likelihood of a third instalment, [...]

It seems like that, without regular updates on a game’s development, the internet sprouts rumours about that game being cancelled. It’s like the whole internet has paranoid delusions.
The latest subject of this is The Agency, the PS3-exclusive massively multiplayer shooter from SOE. There have, apparently, been rumours around lately that the game is going to [...]

Agent, Rockstar’s PS3 exclusive espionage game that you mustn’t confuse with the MMO FPS The Agency, is set for release next year, Or so Rockstar says in response to a question from a particularly miffed PS3er, anyway. Whilst the question was technically incorrect (GTA didn’t originate on Playstation, it released on PC simultaneously), the person [...]

With the success of the first title, it goes without saying that the expectations for Assassin’s Creed 2 are great. The next installment is so anticipated that pre-orders for the Black Edition have already sold out, by Ubisoft’s own admission.
The solution? The creation of a new collector’s edition, Assassin’s Creed 2: White Edition. How original. [...]

The official site for Agent has gone live. There’s nothing there, just the logo, ‘coming soon’ and the usual logos, but you might want to keep your eye on it. Elsewhere in Agentland, you can go read what Ben Feder said about the game here.
Yes, I am padding this post. Today is a slow news [...]

Yeah, they’re pretty vague statements, but Take-Two’s Ben Feder has said to Eurogamer that Agent, Rockstar’s mysterious PS3 exclusive based around espionage in the 1970s, is going to ‘fresh’, ‘worth waiting for’ and a ‘completely different’ is many ways.
Ben Feder: It’s a completely different storyline, there is completely different character development. It’s a game about [...]

The wildlife photography game Afrika is going to have trophies for it’s western release, Natsume, the publishers who are bringing it to the US, has confirmed. The game is meant to be very calming and tranquil, which is presumably a nice break when you get bored of cutting people in half on Prototype.
There’s still not [...]

Assassin’s Creed 2 producer, Sebastien Puel, has said to Hobby Consolas, a Spanish gaming magazine, that the upcoming and awesome-looking Assassin’s Creed 2 will have online, according to TSA. The site for Sony’s upcoming massively multiplayer online shooter, The Agency, has changed. Last time we reported on it, it was pretty bare, but for a pretty damn great animation of a smoking gun (image above) and a few small pieces of info on the two sides you’ll be able to play as in the [...]

It’s been ages since we’ve last heard of Afrika, mostly because the…photography…sim only released in Japan. However, if you’ve been waiting for some hardcore animal-photographing action, and you’re American, your prayers in the US have finally been answered.
Afrika will be released in the US later this year, though a firm release date has not been [...]

‘The Online World is About to Explode’, says the site for the Agency, Sony’s upcoming Massively Multiplayer shooter, along with not much else. There’s info on U.N.I.T.E and ParaGON, who we assume are the two opposing teams in the game. There’s also an image of a smoking gun, with animated smoke that looks positively awesome. [...]
