Alright folks, the release date is fast approaching for PS3 and we still got some chance at pre ordering PS3. Also, we need to start coming up with camping out strategy on the day or near the day of the PS3 launch. We really need your help especially if you are working from major retailer or have inside information on PS3 pre order, and also need launch date quantity from various retailers.

First we will compile and compare information that are given to us from you and various sources. We will then, post information that are most consistent in numbers and date. This way the information that is passed along via our site is accurate and viable for everyone to go by. Note that if you submit bogus information it will be disregarded and any future tips from you will be disregarded. We are trying to help each other by spreading viable and valid information through future PS3 fans.

Without further ado, We will go down the list of retailers that, as of now, have no information on PS3 Pre order and PS3 launch quantity.

Toys R US: If you have not pre ordered PS3 via this retailer then chance of getting PS3 on the launch date is impossible. Only 4 PS3 units have been allowed to be pre ordered.

Gamestop/Ebgames: Again, if you were not able to pre order on October 10th, then you are out of luck. They will not have extra units on the launch date. However, we do need infromation from an inside source in regards to Online pre ordering information. In the past, with Xbox 360, if you pre ordered bundle system, you did not get the Xbox 360 system on the day of release. The system was sent to people on the second batch of shipment. We need to find out if in fact, gamestop allowed pre order online, people are able to get their PS3s on the launch date. Please help us out here!!

Circuit City: No pre order from Circuit City and this has been confirmed. However, Circuit City is throwing a PS3 launch party. Apparently 6 most popular circuit city stores are giving away 100 PS3s and will carry up to 100 PS3 units on the launch day. On top of that they are opening at midnight. Again, this only applies to select Circuit City stores deemed "Hot". More information can be found here.
Best Buy:UPDATED 11/12 - Best Buy has recently released 4 tier allocation based information their managers, and the allocation is based on volume of each store. Tier 1 stores will get 20 premium systems and 6 regulars. Tier 2 stores will get 22 premiums and 8 regulars and Tier 3 stores will receive 24 premiums and 10 regulars. The last tier store which is considered high volume stores will receive around 40 premiums and 40 regulars and also, will open at midnight. Furthermore, they will allow people to form a line Thursday 12:01 am but not before that.
11/7 - Several sources stated that Best Buy did a experimental PS3 Pre Order on Saturday around 2 am morning and it was instantly sold out as soon as the pre order link was up. Unfortunately, Best Buy has recently issued an apology and $10 gift card for allowing 3000 to 5000 PS3 pre order mess up through their online website. In the apologetic e-mail, they have stated that system "glitch" has caused to take pre orders which they were not intended to begin with. For causing an inconvenience, they will issue e-coupon to those who have placed an order via their website.

Target: No information on pre order nor launch date quantity.

Walmart: Possible Pre order via online but no confirmed date yet. Also need launch date quantity.

Amazon: New Info- A representative from Amazon.com has recently made a post about giving pre order information out next week (Week of 11/12/06). Hopefully Pre order starts before the launch date. Here is the link to the post from Amazon representative. Wii pre order has been started early this morning but no words on PS3 pre order. We need this info right away!!

CompUsa: No pre order but first come first serve. Need quantity on the day of release.

Kay Bee Toys Online : No pre order. On their site, they explicitly stated that there will be no pre order.

We need more information on Walmart and Target folks!!
