Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Online Working Again

Well, our personal belief is there never should have been a problem but we do have to admit, Infinity Ward got the online outage fixed pretty quickly. Just got done levelling up a few ranks and happy to report online seems to be working just fine. Anybody still experiencing problems?

mine is still not working. i opened all ports but just says fetching data etc. please can someone help!!

party invites have been working for me
you just have to go to the screen that says press start when your frind sends an invite and then its working
when you join

Actually, online is working. It's only the 'party invite' element that's thrown a wobbly.

According to Bowling, PS3 owners can expect a "party invite update by Friday," which should hopefully resolve this issue. Until then, players will have to make due with the single-player campaign. It's not like this "multiplayer" thing is important, right?

Not up and running yet PS3vault - get it right!!!!!!

PS3Vault: @Nik Dee - We're here in the US and sure enough, there was an update waiting for us Friday morning which is Friday afternoon for you in the UK

They have quite a poor record of online troubles with release. COD4 was littered with issues but at least this time they have fixed the issues a little quicker!!
