Listen up COD 4 fans! We have the latest details about the upcoming Call of Duty 4 patch. Infinity Ward has released the following details:
- Servers will be optimized
- Mute Idiots (ok, that’s our name for the feature), able to mute those annoying punks who try (and fail) to rap while playing
- Improvements to Sniper and ACOG sights (no more annoying delays)
- New Kill Cameras (RPGs, claymores, airstrikes, grenades)
- Adds Recently Met Players to the Add Friends feature on PSN
In addition to the listed features, users can expect the new servers to run faster and more cleanly. No more long, frustrating messages showing “Downloading Game Settings”. This particular pleasant “feature” was due to a humongous amount of traffic on the DemonWare servers. You’d think they would have seen that coming but at least it’s being fixed now. We don’t have a release date but will let you know as soon as we have it.

(COD4) I want to see list of all games online like team deathmach and i want to choose one from the list to join. I want to see who and how many people actually playing team deathmach so i can join. Now you just have to chose team deathmach and you not even see who you going to join, that is stupid. Sorry for my english.
I would love to see some sort of post game chat feature.

I want to see a lobby system! Resistance style…
I have always had trouble linking up in parties with friends online. A person will get an invite to join the party, but the game will fill up before you get in. It turns into a game of tag. It would be nice if there were a way to communicate (via txt msg or voice msg) with friends online but not in the party. Another possibility would be to show the status (i.e. “in game” or “pre-game lobby” or “main menu”) of a friend. It would also be nice to be able to have a “retry” button on party invites, so the friend would not have to keep sending them.
I heard that call of duty was updating so much there is gonna be more weapons, maps and challeges? is it true? someone said it in a cage match…but w.e plz email me and tell me what going on for the “marah” update

The TAG that people use to identify a particular group they belong to is being abused by mindless individuals that think it’s funny to use vulgar and abusive words (of the for letter variety). Please do not ruin this excellent game by stupid words like these. Change you TAG’s to something suitable. Thank you
they should have 2 attach ment like acog and silencer or nube tube and red dot and the option of select fire like RBSV on m16 there is only burst but they should have semi burst and auto PLEAS MAKE SOME NEW MAPS LIKE BIG ONES LIKE IN FRONTLINE

I love playing online and im starting to go crazy without it.
will you post when they have a release date?
1. set up a actual game lobby like in the Battle field games showing connection speeds etc.
2. a punkbuster based client that boots or allows people to vote people out that are ruining the game
3.better servers, let people buy a server to run, something of that sort that is always high speed.
4.a better way of adding friends while in game, its IMPOSSIBLE to add a friend while in game and chances are, you will never see them again if you dont add them, and its never handy to carry around a pencil and paper while trying to shoot someone or waiting for a game to start
those are just a few updates i believe are needed ASAP
it would be nice if you can give us the point we earn in a match when there is a conection interuption. you could have the most kills in a match and most points and a connection interuption happens you lose all those points you made. also being able to add people while playin the game would be nicea thats what i would like to see.
I think that there should be a REPORT SOMEONE feature. Example, for someone using language unsuitable constantly. Or especially, for team killers.

To many times have I played Invite tag with friends! lol. I’ll have a room with friends and I try to keep inviting more, then I run into someone who just sends the invite back to me wantting me to join them just cause. Have it be able to say in the invite how many people are in the room already. I find this very reasonable, dont you? tell me what you think guys
