Call of Duty 4 - Double XP Weekend

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has held a tight grasp on gamers all across the world since it was released back in November 2007, yet it still shows no signs of letting go. As a result, Infinity Ward community manager, Robert Bowling, wished to thank the 10 million+ gamers who purchased the game by announcing a double XP weekend:

“THANK YOU to everyone who consistently continues to play the game every night!! To show our appreciation, as always we’re going to be holding a Double XP Weekend this weekend starting Friday morning and going till Monday (yes I know… we always say that, but we’re really going to cut it off at Monday this time… maybe).

The Double XP will be available in ALL PLAYLISTS and will be on both platforms Xbox 360 and PS3!

In addition, we will be tweaking all the playlist map rotations a bit so that the Variety Map Pack no longer shows up 2:1 to old maps. Therefore all maps (old and new) have an equal chance to come up in map rotation, so you won’t be seeing Chinatown pop up 8,000 times or any other new map over and over again.”

 

So what are you waiting for? Get on COD4 now and get those classes ready in preparation for the much welcomed event!

Has anyone’s plans for the weekend now changed?

    maybe configure your router, it has a firewall you know! .. mine hardley ever crashes, google for open DMZ router name, get the IP of the PS3 and stick it in.

    Job done, just check ur IP address stays the same as you entered in the router.
