Ok, so we all know the guys at Criterion are dead keen to impress with their ongoing support of Paradise. The next installment of that love and devotion to the smashing of metal is coming soon according to Producer Jeremy Chubb…

The next patch for Paradise will herald the arrival of motorbikes - a Burnout first. You get two bikes to start off with, which will be available from your nearest junk yard. However, as the Chubb teases: “there’s more in store once you’ve played a little way through the bike-specific gameplay”. Oh Criterion, how well you understand the gamer’s need for unlockables!

In addition, the patch will also introduce the previously reported day / night cycle. This will change the dynamic of the city streets - less traffic so more challenging time trials perhaps? Wait, there’s more. We’ll also be getting a new weather system, which hopefully won’t introduce a fog setting.

The inclusion of bikes brings a whole new set of 70 challenges to complete and should be more than enough reason to hop back behind the wheel again in early September. Now, that still leaves trophies and bi-plane support. Or maybe I’m just being greedy…
