BioShock for PS3 Goes Gold, Coming October 21
2K Games announced today that BioShock for the PS3 has gone gold which means the scheduled North American release date of October 21 is, well, as good as gold! International customers will receive the game either a few days before or a few days after, depending on their country. In addition, a demo will be available for download on PSN on Thursday, October 2nd.
BioShock for the PS3 will have many new features above and beyond what made it one of the hottest games for the XBox 360. There will be a new difficulty mode called Survivor. Trophies will be available for all to show off and most exciting, there will be additional downloadable add on game content available to expand the game in the near future. Pricing and exact dates aren’t available yet for this content.
BioShock is a firt person shooter, set in the futuristic world of Rapture, an art deco utopian world gone whacko. A sophisticated AI system ensures that no encounter will play out the same way twice. Rated M for Mature audiences.
