That's right, the adventures of a man with red hair and a robotic arm can now be yours to enjoy once more. News out today is that Capcom's refresh of the 1988 classic Bionic Commando is now available to buy on the US store.

The updated title will cost $9.99 (and probably double that when it gets to the UK store) and will let you enjoy 2D side scrolling action but with some lovely shiny HD polish. If, like me, you remember playing the original this is good news all round. As well as the new paint job Capcom have added 2 player co-op, multiplayer for up to 4 players and a new Challenge Rooms mode which will test your grappling skills to the max. Lastly, the word is there will be specific content for the PSN version too. What's not to like?
