You may have seen some other advice or videos on this, but I can promise you that this is the best way to get the “hit man” trophy, which means getting a 1000-hit combo. Warning: there may be spoilers, but nothing to important.

OK, so to do this you need to get to the part where you meet the Poseidon Princess, which is just after you beat Hercules. After she tells you to go away, you’ll follow the path until you get to a room with a bunch of portals. There is a puzzle in this room where you need to kick a bunch of dogs through a gateway to make a bridge sink so that you can get to the next gate. The dogs will never stop spawning, and there will always be 2 or 3 out, but never more which makes things much easier to manage. Also, the dogs won’t really try to attack you aggressively. At this point you will have the Claws of Hades, so bust em’ out and get ready for a lot of circle mashing. No matter what, never stop holding L1 and never stop hitting O, because this will help keep you’re combo from ending. If you need to move, and you will, just flick the right stick. Often I would break the 600 hit mark, only to make a small mistake (damn my weak thumbs) and end up starting over. But like I said, the dogs will never stop spawning so you can just keep on trying. Should you mess up and have to start over, be sure to jump through the gateway and kill any dogs on the elevator.
