Battlefield: Bad Company to Have 300MB Install on PS3

Tag: Rumors

SCRAWL reader Reedix sent in a comparison picture of the boxes of EA's upcoming Battlefield: Bad Company on the PLAYSTATION 3 and Xbox 360. What he noticed was that the PLAYSTATION 3 requires 300MB of space while the Xbox 360 version requires 2MB of space. He got these box shots from the PS3 and 360 pages for the game on GameStop.com. But as a ps3 user, The art at the bottom of the Playstation 3 Box Looks nothing like the XBOX, Fact Or Rumor.!

300Mb isn't a lot (agreed), but at the end of the day, all these game installs add up. It may be the right time for me to upgrade my hard drive!

I don't understand why most people feak out when we talk about PS3 needing install... I prefer having a game running from HD with faster loading times/framerate or whatever than having to wait all the time or get lesser quality. Plus, 300Mb out of 80 gig, who cares.. As for you music/video/demo library, use and external HD!
